I’m Dr. Shafer H. Zysman, author of Unrestrained Creativity: How Sandlot Baseball Can Unleash Creativity for Kids in the Tech Age. In this book, I delve into how traditional sports like sandlot baseball are vital for nurturing creativity, self-esteem, and a strong sense of identity in today’s digital age.
With over 40 years of experience in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Alcohol/Substance Abuse Treatment, and Behavioral Health, I’ve worked with a diverse range of patients from children to the elderly. I’ve also been actively involved in developing and managing programs that support those facing mental health and addiction challenges. My muti-disciplinary background includes degrees from the University at Buffalo, Ohio University and Adelphi University.
